Start of a two year modernisation process for the meat processing centre

As a first step, the purchase led to an application for a new approval to increase the slaughter volumes. The slaughter capacity increased from approx. 3,500 to 8,500 pigs per week. The now company-owned business premises were completely renovated from scratch. In addition to the restoration of the slaughter line, investment was made in fully automated cool storage and an expanded administration. The company developed in an increasingly positive way and even the number of employees grew.
